Timken continues its rich tradition of supporting global communities where we operate through volunteerism, community leadership and financial support. To make the biggest impact possible, we focus our philanthropic efforts on the following three key areas:

We promote lifelong learning through our Timken Scholarship Program and by collaborating with leading engineering schools and local Junior Achievement efforts.

We enhance quality of life wherever we live and work. Our associates donate thousands of volunteer hours supporting personal charities and company-sponsored events as well as fulfilling community leadership roles.

We foster community health and well-being in collaboration with leading global and local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the United Way and regional food banks.

When it comes to safety, we believe even one injury is too many, so we remain relentless in our pursuit of an accident-free workplace, with education and prevention being our most effective tools.

At the same time, Timken remains a good steward of the environment, guarding our natural resources as we strive for greater efficiency in our operations and for our customers. We embrace environmental sustainability through pollution prevention, waste management, recycling and energy conservation, and as we create energy-saving innovations in our friction management and power transmission products and services.

Timken’in İş Sağlığı, Güvenliği ve Çevre ekibi, taahhütlerimizin bir parçası olarak, hem harici yönetmeliklere hem de kurum içindeki yüksek standartlara uygunluğun sağlanması için İSGÇ yönetim sistemlerimizi küresel çapta düzenli aralıklarla değerlendiren bir denetim programı geliştirmiştir. Üretim tesisleri, Timken’in Kurumsal İSGÇ ekibi veya kalifiye bir danışman tarafından üç yılda bir ya da daha sık denetlenmektedir*. Ayrıca, üretim tesislerimizin, yasal yükümlülükleri ve şirket içi beklentileri karşılamak adına yıllık iç denetimler gerçekleştirme zorunluluğu bulunur.
