Over the past century, the Everglades have been reduced to half their original size, destroying natural habitats for hundreds of native species and degrading water quality for human communities, as well.

The U.S. Congress approved a massive restoration project in 2000, and Timken is proud to play a role, providing Philadelphia Gear drives to pump water into natural treatment areas. Through teamwork, knowledge, and perseverance, we’re successfully reversing damage and restoring fresh water to these extraordinary wetlands.
