Timken® tapered roller bearings manage friction in an energy efficient and cost-effective manner.

Adjusting nut has a unique locking method that provides exact bearing setting. Because the WHEEL BOSS adjusting nut locks tight to the spindle, instead of a tang in the keyway, the spindle thread life also is improved.

HDL grease seal recirculates grease within the bearing, keeping contamination out and lubrication in. The unique design of the seal lips allows the seal to vent internal pressure while keeping the lips lubricated. Better lubrication means less wear. The flanged outer seal case provides a positive stop, allowing for fast, correct assembly when using the installation tool. The outside diameter of the flange is also designed to be compatible with the target wheel on ABS equipped applications. The seal works best with Timken-approved #2 greases.

Non-vented hub cap prevents infiltration of water and debris into the wheel-end, resulting in increased fleet uptime and reduced maintenance costs.
